Dillon Brothers Harley Davidson, the Elkhorn Valley Hog Chapter and the Muscular Dystrophy association have come together once again to raise money for MDA. MDA is a voluntary health agency – a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans. Currently, the local chapter in Omaha, NE serves over 700 families in Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa. The Day of the Hog [DOTH] Charity event has, over the past 8 years, generated almost $400,000 for this great cause.

On June 23, 2012 between 9am and 11am the registration tables will be ready so come by and sign up for VODEC’s poker run.
Registration is $15 for single riders and $25 per couple. Pre-registration is available through their website [CLICK HERE]  and there is a secondary registration site at the same time at the hog stop in Iowa.

For the 4th annual Nebraska Law Ride join the Iron Warriors Motorcycle Club at the Dillon Brothers Harley-Davidson store in Omaha [MAP] on Saturday May 12th 2012. Rolling out at 11:00 AM  the escorted ride will start at Dillon Harley and head to Lincoln and then on to Grand Island.  All vehicles are welcome, we ride rain or shine so be prepared.

Registration is $20 and starts at 9:30AM.

All profits benefit the Law Enforcement Memorial Project in Grand Island, NE

After the ride there will be an After Party at the Midtown Holiday Inn [MAP] on Locust st in Grand Island where they will have food, music, and raffles. the Iron Warriors have also arranged group rates for the hotel. Reservations must be made by April 28th, 2012 under the group name: Nebraska Law Ride.

We haven’t set all the details for Men’s Night yet but it’s the next big event so be prepared.

As ALWAYS there will be Adult Beverages available as well as catered food. This has been a huge event for a long time now and we know how to party.. In the past we’ve had  Dyno Derby’s and Dyno Test Rides, Burnout competions, Stump the Tech Sessions, you name it.. Last year the ladies from Twin Peaks Restaurant even came out to party as well.

We will be meeting at Dillon Brothers Harley-Davidson:
3838 N. HWS Cleveland BLVD on June 10, 2012 between 4:30 and 4:45am; Kickstands up at 5:00am.

We will head down Maple St and hopping on I-680 crossing over into Iowa then headed North on I-29. Going thru South Dakota and into North Dakota. Pembina, North Dakota will be our turn around point. There you will need a halfway receipt. And then back to the Dealership. We will be completing the Saddlesore 1000 (1000 miles in 24 hrs),

THIS IS NOT A RACE NOR FOR THE CAUSUAL RIDER. Please go to IRONBUTT.COM for tips and info on this and different rides. Since this route is pre-approved by the IBA and we are approved witnesses, only a few key receipts are needed, and no logs, or witness forms are required!
